A new transaction can be added to the database in three ways. Click on the link for more detailed instructions:
From the Individual or Organization Record
In this method, you search for the individual or Organization and go to their record to add the transaction. This method can be easier for beginners since there are no extra steps in searching for the Individual or Organization.
From the Add/Search Financial Transaction Menu
In this method, you select which type of transaction you would like to add and search for the individual or organization.
From the Financial Register
In this method, you go to your financial Register and select the type of transaction and search for the individual or organization.
All three way will take you to the same destination and there is no "best" way. Try each method and see which one you prefer.
