Hot Tip - Event Type Manager

Did you know that the human eye can see 7,000,000 colors?

Did you know that 16 of those colors can be used to identify types of events in your CompleteCampaigns.com calendar?

By using color to identify certain types of events, your staff can easily see when the next phone bank will occur or when someone will be out of the office. You can classify a color for a particular event to ensure that the next person to add an event will use the same color.

To identify event types:

  1. From the Calendar Menu, select Event Type Manager.

  2. The Event Types will list the Event Type next to the color.

  1. Type over the color name to specify that color for an event. If you want more than one event for a color, click on Add Event Type and type in the name of the event and the color.

  2. Click Save Changes.

Once you have set an event type, you can add an event to the calendar with that specific event color:

  1. Click Add Event from the calendar.

  2. Type in the name of the event in the Subject.

  3. In the Type/Color, select the event that you added.

  1. Remember to click Add before closing your event.

  2. It will now appear on your calendar.

Just keep in mind that eight percent of men and 0.4% of women are color blind, so you might want to check with the candidate first!
