The Election Manager allows you to add as many individual elections (races) as your committee is officially involved in. For party and multi-candidate committees, this is very important. The Election is a crucial piece of data for FEC and state finance reporting purposes.
You need to add an election cycle:
From the Management menu, select Elections.
This is your Elections Manager page, click Add Election.
Enter the name of the election under Office Sought/Purpose, select Primary, General or Special from the Election Type menu, and enter the date of the election.
Click the Add button to add the new election to the list. Then, click Close.
You can delete elections by clicking the blue X next to each election. Before leaving this screen, click the Save Changes button to commit your changes to the database.
